Depending on vehicles the elevation gain will be anywhere from 1400 to 1800m. The hike is steep; and according to Beckey the peak is “easy scrambling but with some exposure”.

The plan is to attempt it with just basic hiking gear (crampons and an ice axe) rather than take a rope. If we make the summit good – if we don’t, we will have got fresh air and exercise. Please phone or email for more details.
