The Vancouver Section executive has been working on a new website design for about three years.  Special thanks to Florian Geier, Raz Peel, Martin Siegert, Jay MacArthur, Rob Janousek, Anna Milino, Claude Vessaz, Mitch Lenton, and others who have contributed with with ideas.

The main change is adding  a modern trip planner to replace the old iCal system and integrating the trip schedule and event planner into WordPress.  Please review the new trip schedule under the Trips/Events tab. To sign up for a trip, you will have to set your ID on the new website.  To do that:

  1. Click on the Login button on the top right side of the page.
  2. Attempt to login, and say, I forgot my password.  The new system uses your email as your login.
  3. WordPress will send you an email to re-set your password.  Check the email and follow the instructions on the link.  You might have to check your junk email folder.
  4. Login with the password you just created/saved.
