Hike from Cypress Bowl parking lot along the Howe Sound Crest Trail (south) to a spectacular viewpoint. If weather and attendee motivation permit, we could extend the hike to Unnecessary Mountain, an additional two hours.

Anyone up for a mid-week jaunt up the BCMC? Let’s meet at the gate, but I’m also happy to organize carpooling if needed. I like to hike up AND down. 🙂

Meet @ GG Gate……7:45 departure

Hike up to the observation tower lookout point via High Trail, followed by a Cheakamus Loop Trail to another lookout point and then back to the parking lot.

Meet at car park at top of Lillooet Road @ 8.00am. Bike along Seymour Valley Trailway (around 9km) to trailhead for Seymour Valley lookout – stash bikes, hike up to Coliseum and on to Burwell.
