Events at Coquihalla

    Markhor-Needle traverse. Priority will be given to the participants of the Mentorship program. Other participants will be accepted based on experience, and group size. Mandatory gear: Helmet, Footwear with sticky soles, Headlamp, (light) harness, belay device

    Scramble practice at Needle Peak, out and back from trailhead. Potential ridge traverse towards Markhor peak, depending on comfort level. Potential rappel practice on way down.   Required items: 10 essentials, helmet, hiking poles, 60m rope (1 for the group), approach shoes. Required experience: BMC qualified.

    Markhor Needle traverse for mentorship program participants only. Details will be posted in mentorship google drive folder and shared with participants. Depending on number of people signing up may be able to accommodate a couple experienced additional club members if I have hiked/climbed with you before.

  • This trip is intended for those with little-to-no touring experience.   • Snowshoe attempt of a surprisingly nice mountain between the Coquihalla and Fraser. Optional car camping Friday night.
