Description

This is a self guided self catered week of Alpine Climbing, cragging and multipitch climbing in the Washington Pass and Mazama areas.

The itinerary is as follows:

• Sunday August 20: Travel to Mazama, find a campsite, and meet at the Mazama store at 3pm to meet the other participants.
• Monday August 21 to Friday August 25: Climb at your leisure.  For possible routes and descriptions see Washington Pass Supertopo and Mazama Rock.
• Saturday August 26: Travel home

Accommodations: We plan to camp at the Klipchuck Campsite assuming there is space as you can not reserve.  There are two other campgrounds nearby that will be the backup plan if Klipchuck is full.  Klipchuck allows for two vehicles and 2 tents per campsite.

Cost: There is no payment to the Club.  Participants will be expected to pay for their own campsites and share travel costs if carpooling.

There will not be organized daily events at this camp.  Please be prepared to be self sufficient and sign up for this camp with a partner or talk with the other participants who have also signed up to form a climbing partnership prior to the start of the trip.  We will share participant information closer to the date to also allow people to arrange carpools if so desired, and to arrange sharing campsites.
