    I’ve never been to Suicide Bluff before; I’m pretty sure I can find it, but in case that doesn’t work out, we can fall back to Cal Cheak (but the ice there will probably be marginal).

    For those new to backcountry skiing or those who would like an easy paced day of skiing without paying for a lift, we will be meeting up for a day trip starting early in the day and heading back to vancouver late in the afternoon if everyone is doing well.

    Beginner Friendly orientation to Winter Back Country Travel, assemble at St Davids for 6:30 am departure. idea is to practice basic travel and ski skills (skiing with heavy pack) including building snow shelters for those who wish as well as practice with transceivers probes, and shovels.
