Beginner Friendly orientation to Winter Back Country Travel, assemble at St Davids for 6:30 am departure. idea is to practice basic travel and ski skills (skiing with heavy pack) including building snow shelters for those who wish as well as practice with transceivers probes, and shovels. If conditions and time permit an early Sunday trip to the Gargoyles and Little Diamond head before heading back to the cars.
