Welcome to the annual En Plein Air hiking/sketching/painting/photographing get-away weekend at Baker Lodge, by the Mt. Baker ski area in Washington State. We will try to meet sometime after noon on Fri Sept 27 at Artists Point (if you can’t make it then, you can come directly to the Mountaineers Lodge after 4 PM), and enjoy two days of hiking, scrambling, sketching and painting. – Hikers and photographers are definitely welcome! 

The scenery is spectacular with views of alpine meadows, brooks, lakes and ridge-lines, as well as Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan!! The accommodation at Baker Lodge is rustic but quite comfortable. All meals are included except lunches. (The cooks are also very good at accommodating food allergies.) For more detailed info please email Lynn at: [email protected].

Ten people are already interested but there are at least 7 spots still available.  If you are interested, let me know ASAP! I have detailed instructions that I can send you about signing up and paying on the Mountaineers website.

We did this last year, as they were not taking formal groups, and the good thing about it is that individuals can cancel right up to the week, or even a few days, before that weekend. (So if the weather is really bad, you can cancel.)

Cost:                    2 nights ($98 USD)

Includes:            2 nights of accommodation at Baker Lodge near the Mount Baker ski area and all meals, except lunches.

Registration:     RESERVATION and PAYMENT must be done online (you can cancel before Sept. 24, if required).
