Description

We sucessfully secured a reservation through lottery for the Elizabeth Parker Hut for the week of August 10 to 17 2025. This hut is located at Lake Ohara in Yoho National Park. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay on site in a historic log hut with trails and mountains right out the front door. There are many hiking and mountaineering options along with few climbing options. Possible objectives include Mt Victoria and Mt Lefroy,  Mt Huber, Oderay and many other options including hiking on manicured trails and swimming in jewel colored lakes.

We will be taking the 20-minute bus on August 11 to get to the hut. There is a full kitchen with propane cooking available at the hut. However no refrigration available. See more here https://www.alpineclubofcanada.ca/elizabeth-parker-hut/

We will be staying at the Lake Louise Hostel the night before and we plan to share meals. Details to be worked out later.
