Description
Legendary Thompson River (Paddle)
6 Hours
The Details
BC’s most popular white water rafting trip is one that you can enjoy together with all types of groups. It’s a white water cascade through 40 sets of rapids, a dazzling combination or beautiful, rugged, desert-like scenery, and a memorable Shaw Springs luncheon.
Paddle rafts are smaller than power rafts and you are required to work as a team in order to navigate the rapids. Your guide calls paddle instructions and you assist the team by paddling together. The ride is “smoother” compared to power rafting but generally results in a stronger sense of accomplishment.

Participation in this event is contingent upon understanding and completing Kumsheen’s Waiver and Acceptance of Responsibility.
It is suggested that potential participants make and share car pooling arrangements to economize on travel costs. In other words form a group and identify travel mates before signing on to this trip.
The ACC-Van quoted rate for this trip includes a 10 % discount from the usual shoulder season fair and assumes that there will be at least 10 participants. To be promoted to participant payment of $170 must be received (etransfer to me) along with the names of any other car pool participants so that they will also be admitted as soon as their payment is received.
In the event of an unavoidable need to cancel up to 2 days prior to the event….refunds will be made to the extent of willing & available members on the wait list.
It is about a 3 hour drive to Kumsheen Headquarters be sure to allow enough time to register & meet the 10 am bus transporting participants to Spence’s Bridge.
