Description
We’ll meet at Mt Seymour resort, at then head up towards Tim Jones Peak. The trail is well marked and we’ll go up over Brockton Point. Then turn left and up the left side of Pump Peak. This is the steepest section it has slabs and chains to assist getting up the slope. Then its over the top of Pump Peak and then over to Tim Jones Peak. On the return we’ll take the less steep route around via the Elsay Lake turn off, returning back to cars at the Mt Seymour resort.
Views are good across the North Shore and Lower Mainland unless the clouds or weather decide to not co-operate 😁
Pace will be comfortable and we’ll take breaks for food and drinks.

Hazards:
- In the backcountry so communication may be difficult in the event of accident and rescue might delayed
- Loose dirt and rocks
- Slabs of rock
- Steeper sections with chains
- Roots, stumps and assorted trees
Water is minimal to non-existent, so please don’t rely on any being present on the hike and bring water.
