Wiwaxy Hut Family Camp Walking /Hiking – Lake O’Hara

Banff and Yoho National Parks in the vicinity of Mount Victoria with Lake Louise on its’ east and Lake O’Hara to its’ west, offer some of the most impressive, beloved and iconic hiking/scrambling and climbing opportunities in the Canadian Rockies.
This camp features 3 nights in the ACC Wiwaxy Hut at Lake O’Hara and is Family (young children)oriented).

Leaving Vancouver to arrive at the Lake O’Hara Bus parking lot for a ride in on July 19, this 3 day (3 nights) (carpooling) excursion involves :-

-One day travel to Lake Louise / Golden (HI LL Alpine Centre – Hostel or similar) for Tuesday night stay,
In order to be at Lake O’Hara parking lot for 8:30 or 10:30 am bus departure to Wiwaxy Hut.
-3 nights at ACC Wiwaxy Hut with time for 3 days of hiking/scrambling in the area.
before driving back to Vancouver on July 22.

The EP portion of this camp All-inclusive cost $335 per person. See Additional Notes below for payment instructions.
Will be fully catered with an in-house chef to maximize meal enjoyment and exploration time in this fabulous setting. Bring limited quantity of your own treats etc if desired. EP Hut stay portion costs includes all hut fees, wilderness pass, bus pass, food & chef.
Each participant will need to bring a soft side container to transport & safely store approximately 10 lbs being your share of food & supplies…from Hostel to parking lot in the bus and to the EP Hut…inside your overnight pack see also required items to bring

Meals, Cooking & Restaurants
The Hostel has kitchen facilities. For those so inclined food can be bought in Banff (limited selection in Lake Louise) or brought from Vancouver for preparation on site.

There are several restaurants in town, and it is not uncommon to go out for a group dinner while in the Lake Louise / Banff area.
