Who’s up for a last-minute rainy day leg-
stretcher?

Sunset beach is between Horseshoe Bay and Lions
Bay and gives short but steep access up to
Cypress. We’ll stay below the snowline and make
a little lookout our turnaround spot. It’ll be
about 6km and 600m elevation gain.

I generally hike at the fast end of moderate,
but prefer folks to stick together, so depending
on the pace of the group, slower people may have
to speed up a little and faster people will need
to be able to keep themselves in check.
