Description

Parking is just off the paved road and is accessible by 2WD vehicles. We will hike to Pierce Lake with an 1,100 meter elevation gain. If time and conditions permit (late season snow and weather), and the group is willing, we may hike to Upper Pierce Lake (470 meter gain)and on to Mt. Pierce (another 200 meters). Some minor scrambling may be involved, if we get that far. This is a fun-oriented trip, and the summit is not the goal but would be nice. We will be under no time pressure to return to Vancouver. If you have a date, either don’t go or plan to drive yourself.
