Trail Running along the HSCT between Cypress
Ski Area and The Deeks lake Trailhead along the
Sea to Sky Highway. This course is 28.3 KM and
over 1900m of
elevation gain. This will be a self reliant
run and is not a sponsored or organized event.
There are no aid stations, no t-shirt or medal,
and no easy outs.

Warning: This is a
run intended for advanced runners who are
comfortable with technical single track running
and low class scrambling.
There are no aid stations and you must be self
sufficient

The run begins in the Cypress Ski area parking
lot where we will ascend the HSCT to St Marks
Summit, this portion of the run has the most
elevation gain, from St
Marks summit we will navigate the technical
terrain down to Mount Unnecessary and the link
up to Lions Bay. Runners who cannot complete
the whole trail must turn
down the Binkert trail at this point. Runners
continuing along the trail to Magnesia Meadows
and down to Brunswick Lake, the run will end at
the dirt road to
Deeks Lake where we will pick up our carpool
shuttle vehicles back to Vancouver for a well
earned beer!

We will need one or two people to shuttle their
vehicles to the Deeks Lake Trailhead so that we
can ensure transportation back to the city.
