Description

Planning to stay at Lightning Lakes campground on the Thanksgiving long weekend departing Friday October 7 after work and returning Monday October 10. BC Parks camping fees are ~$100 for the three nights per site and I would recommend reserving a campsite in advance. Proposed hiking/scrambling objectives include the Mt. Frosty loop, Skyline trail or portions of the Pacific Crest trail. Actual hikes will be selected based on weather at the camp. Note that some of these hikes are ~30km with significant elevation gain.
