Description

Come hike, draw and paint amidst the wonderful mountain scenery of the Mount Baker ski area. All skill levels and all media (acrylic, watercolour, graphite, pen and ink, etc) are welcome. Participants have a lot of fun and learn from each other. Weather permitting, we will be outdoors each day exploring the local trails and scenic viewpoints at Picture Lake, Bagley Lakes, Artists Point and Table Mountain. We’ll be inspired by alpine meadows, tarns and brooks, twisted firs, golden ash and burgundy blueberries, the snow dome of Baker and the craggy skyline of Shuksan. Tables beneath big picture windows will be available for work indoors on cool days. Accommodation and meals will be provided at the Mount Baker Ski Lodge, a woodsy dorm-style facility operated by The Mountaineers.
