Description

Overnight trip to Frosty Mountain (2426 m) in Manning Park timed to get the Alpine Larches turning gold. This could be done as a day trip from Vancouver but an overnight allows for a more leisurely trip and provides time to photograph the larches in the early morning/evening. Start Lightning Lakes 1200 m, camp at 1850 m.

The east peak (2409 m) is a hike, some scrambling is required to ascending the slightly higher west peak (2426 m).
