Meet at the Smoke Bluffs parking lot in Squamish for 1200h. We will review crevasse rescue using a drop loop system, and rope ascending if time allows. Come prepared to spend the day outside in all weather conditions. Review knots and haul system prior to attending.

There will be a partial (68%) eclipse of the sun on Oct 23/2014 from 2-4pm.We will have a telescope with a solar filter to enable us to view the eclipse safely. Do not attempt to view the eclipse directly without the use of solar filters. For more information call me at 604-224-7504
