Description

Remote first aid is a starting point to gain specific techniques and approaches for emergencies that occur during day activities in the wilderness. It has an online component followed by 2 full day of classroom training and

scenarios outsite.

RFA certificate holders can upgrade to wilderness first aid with Intermediate First Aid equivalency by taking a 24 hour upgrade course.   It is recommended that you do this within one year of your original course.

There will also be an opportunity to re certify your previous RFA certificate.

The Trip recruitment team is working to organize this courses as a private course for our members, with decreasing cost with multiple participants. This weekend is selected to start informing the members and gather interest for this course.

Final dates will be determined once there is enough interest to get a group  going at a  good price. Please reach out to  Manouane Deschenes to comment or if you have any desire to assist with organization.

The course will be offered in Vancouver so members can reduce driving requirement.
