Description
For this hike, we will be challenging our Stawamus knowledge and connecting the peaks in a unique way.
This is a fair weather hike, because we will be scrambling on some of the low angle slabs and wet slabs are no fun.
I live in Squamish so I can’t help anyone with carpool. We meet at the Chief parking lot nice and early to beat the crowds and get back home early to relax before the work week. Good fitness is necessary because the ascent is steep. However we will have a moderate pace. Some confidence on slab and rock climbing / scrambling experience necessary to enjoy the rocky sections. I will have a plan B for a wet day that can be figured out later.
Total distance: approximately 8 km, total elevation gain: approximately 800m
