Description
We have secured an exclusive 3 nights stay at the new ACC hut in Mount Robson Provincial Park.
The terrain and scenery are sublime and it’s a good challenge to make it to the hut. As a group we will decide how we want to approach the hut. Approach will be hiking in which is 24km and about 1000m of elevation gain.
We will carpool from Squamish and Vancouver and drive on Thursday September 10th, arriving at Mt Robson provincial park in the evening. Camp there and get up early to get a park pass and hike to our home for 3 nights. The trail is well marked and very well used by many campers. The hut is near a stream and a couple of lakes.
The possible objectives are Tatei Ridge/ Titkana Peak, Rearguard Mountain, Snowbird Pass, Mumm Peak, Resplendent peak depending on the groups. I have never been to this area so I will need to research and expect participants to contribute to trip planning and objectives selection.
Costs are hut fees $150 due immediately upon confirmation on the trip. Due by August 12.
