Description

Fjallraven has generously given 11 of their friends ACC
Vancouver Section memberships and have coordinated a
welcome hike with some of our existing members. This
introductory hike for our new members is to introduce them
to the calendar, waivers and how the section works while
enjoying a hike to Crown Mountain. An introductory night at
Fjallraven West Broadway on Aug 15th screening the
participants abilities, current ACC members reviewed the 10
essentials, Leave No Trace and AdventureSmart with all
those participating.
This is not a guided Hike, it is a collaboration of all
participants abilities to make for a safe enjoyable hike.
Details/safety of the hike and alternative plans incase of
weather issues were discussed. Full disclosure, as this hike
is full we look forward to the participants with this hike
under their belt, being able to post this trip in the future to
other section members as they will now have the first hand
experience.
