Yes the forecast is calling for rain, but hey
we’re proud wetcoasters, I only have Sunday
free and I’d like to get out. Plan is to meet
at Waterfront Stn at 8:30am (or the Taylor Way
Church at 8:45). If gate is open drive all the
way to TH, or park at Porteau Cove. Hike up to
the Lost Lake shelter via Kallahne Creek plus a
little extra up to a bluff towards Deeks
because it has a funny weather station
structure on it. I figure it’ll about 12km
round-trip, 1000m elevation gain, say 7 hours
but probably less.
