Last minute beginner friendly trip to Zoa peak.

 

Description

The Route: Plan is to start from exit 221 (Hw5), and follow the winter road. then yo-yo on slope with proper exposure according to AVI risk

Difficulty rating: Intermediate/advanced (B2/3) – most of this trip is on moderate slopes,

Distance: ~11km round trip

Elevation gain: ~650m

Requirements: AST1, shovel, probe, avalanche transceiver,  the 10 essentials, enough food, liquids, and warm clothing for a full day out.

Carpooling: 4×4 is not required, the road is good all the way to the parking lot
