Description

Remote Wilderness First Aid Course (20 hours)

Canadian Red Cross certified, and offer practical, hands-on training that is nationally recognized and internationally recognizable.

This course is designed for weekend warriors, scout and guide leaders and wilderness instructors staying closer to help. We add basic shelter construction on top of the normal content because of the environment we play in. All of this is taught by Wilderness Guides, so you’re sure to have an epic time.

We offer Free Skill Refreshers for up to 2 years after the course. Includes CPR C and AED.

Part of the course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.

Duration: 20 hours of in class instruction (not including lunch breaks).

Day 1 (Friday September 29): 6pm – 8pm

Day 2+3 (Saturday September 30 & Sunday October 1): 8:30am – 6:30pm

Location: Vancouver

Prerequisites: Participant must be in good health and physical condition. 12+

Certification: 3-year certification in Remote First Aid & CPR C.
