Description
Location: North Cascades, WA
Date: Sunday, June 22, 2025
Participants: priority given to BMC 2025 grads – max 12
This is a great early-season fitness and scrambling challenge. Twin Sisters North offers outstanding ridge scrambling on excellent rock with route-finding and optional spicier sections. It’s a big, rewarding day that blends mountain biking, hiking, and fun Class 3-4 scrambling. Once on the ridge, we’ll be treated to sweeping views of Puget Sound and Mount Baker from the summit. The rock here is a rare type of dunite—solid and grippy rock that is unique to Washington. Expect an 10-14 hour car-to-car day.
Trip Breakdown:
- Drive: ~2hrs from Vancouver
- Bike: 10km with 600+m elevation gain on well maintained gravel road (~2hrs)

Important Notes:
- This trip crosses the U.S. border, so make sure to have your valid passport or required travel documents with you
