Description
Thursday Night Climbing in Squamish
Join us Thursday evenings for casual climbing at one of the Squamish-area crags, typically the Smoke Bluffs or Murrin Park. These areas offer a range of climbing routes suitable for top-roping and lead climbing. This event is open to newer members or prospective members looking to connect with the ACC climbing community. Guests may attend occasionally before being expected to join the Club.
Currently there is no rain in the forecast for Thursday. If the weather turns out to be such that rock climbing is not possible, this event will get cancelled on Thursday morning. Check back here then!
We meet at 4pm in the parking lot of St. David’s church at the Taylor Way exit of Hwy 1. From there we carpool to Squamish, the Smokes Bluffs or Murrin Park, the decision where to go is made around 4pm at the carpool location. If you like to meet us in Squamish directly please send a text to the organizer before 4pm to find out where we are going.
There is also an ACC Thursday Night Climbing WhatsApp group to share photos, etc. We’ll also post the location of the crag where we are going there. Send an email to the organizer if you want to join that WhatsApp group.
