Description
Ruth Mountain is a glaciated summit south of Hannegan Pass. The trip is listed as mountaineering as it might be an icy snowpack. If it’s soft it would be a simple snow hike.

Gear – crampons, ice axe, and the knowledge of how to use them. Helmet, sunglasses, headlight. Enough clothes to survive a night in the alpine in case of emergency.
PASSPORT! Also, a parking permit is required for the vehicles parked at the trailhead.
