Ready to level up your leadership?

This course is built for both new and experienced local section climbing trip leaders who want to sharpen their skills and bring stronger support to their section’s trip programming.

You’ll dive into the core competencies needed to run a safe and successful top‑rope crag day—hazard assessment, anchor building, rope systems, rescue skills, and more. Check the trip itinerary for the full skill progression! Applicants should already feel confident leading 5.10‑ outdoor sport routes.

Our Leadership Development Committee is proud to bring you this course as part of its new model for delivering targeted, locally relevant training to sections. It was designed in direct response to the insights and feedback you shared with us last year.

Open to members from all sections across Canada. Applications close Monday, May 3rd at midnight (PT).
