Join us on Tuesday October 25 for another fall social. PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE: It will be held in-person at the Floral Hall, Van Dusen Botanical Garden (37th Avenue at Oak Street) in Vancouver. The doors will open at 6pm for socializing and the program will begin at 7pm. The meeting will include announcements for up-coming Vancouver Section activities, followed by a great slideshow by Isabel Budke.

The full title of Isabel’s show is “Solo in South Africa and Tanzania: Climbing, Culture and Wildlife Adventures of a Mzungu Woman”.  As an experienced mountaineer, search & rescue member, and leadership coach, Isabel has travelled around the world to climb high peaks, discover countries, and work with diverse cultures. She is excited to share stories and images of her two-month trip to Africa, including mountain adventures on Kilimanjaro, Meru, and El Donjo Longai; wilderness explorations and wildlife encounters in Ngorongoro, Serengeti and the Drakensberge; and cultural connections in cities and Maasai villages.
