Note that our next social gathering will take place at Mahony’s Tavern at Stamps Landing, False Creek (not at the Floral Hall). So, grab your friends and come on out on Tuesday April 25 for a beer, some stories, and a laugh or two. The upstairs will open at 6pm for socializing and dinner. The program will begin at 7pm.

It’s almost time to put away our skis and get out our climbing shoes. The evening’s presentation, “Rock Climbing Road Trips”, will inspire us to jump in our cars and head off to many Canadian and American rock climbing destinations. What could be more fun than car camping with friends and exploring new routes every day?

• Mike and Amber McMinn will show us the best of Smith Rocks in Oregon and Joshua Tree in California.
• Tony Knight and Margaret Hanson will take us on their road trips to Skaha in the Okanagan, Frenchman Coulee in Washington State, and possibly even St. George in Utah.
• Manouane Deschenes will share a club trip to Red Rocks in Nevada and City of Rocks in Idaho.
