Description
Please join us on November 25, 2025 for our monthly social! This month, we’re featuring a presentation on ski-mountaineering in the St. Elias Mountains located in the southwest corner of the Yukon within Kluane National Park.
Section members Paul and Willa Geddes participated in several trips to this vast area in the 1990’s and 2000’s.
Their camps were set up on some of the largest nonpolar icefields in the world. There are still opportunities for first ascents in these mountains, including the highest unclimbed summit in North America.
