Description

This is an excellent alpine traverse that links Metal Dome to the popular Brandywine trail for the descent. This involves about 16 km total, 8 km ‘off-trail’ and 1,100 m elevation gain. There is one exposed third class step required, scrambling and steeper snow sections. Participants should be in good physical condition, have appropriate footwear , an ice axe and clothing for variable mountain conditions. This trip will be weather dependant. We will carpool from the Independent Grocer in Squamish. High clearance vehicles are required so participants will be accepted based on vehicle availability. Please advise if you are willing to drive to the trailhead.
