    That doesn't mean that you are confirmed to go on the trip yet. If you are accepted, you should receive an email from the coordinator to confirm your sign-up and coordinate the trip's details.

Description

This event is for people that are a part of the 2025 ACC Summer Mentoring Program.  During this session we will go over:

  • Securing yourself at a multipitch belay
  • Building an efficient multipitch  anchor
  • How to swing leads efficiently on a multi pitch climb
  • multi-pitch rappelling
  • Additional topics on multi pitch / rope works skills and efficiencies that mentees would like to cover (bring you questions and thoughts!)

If we run out of time on this session, which is likely due to the limited daylight, we will host a second (and maybe third) dry-school evening in May/June

Please bring with you everything you would bring if you were going to go on a multi pitch climb. Plus a headlamp, food/snacks, water, warm layer. If you have old ropes, feel free to bring them. Don’t bring your good rope(s), there is often broken glass at the venue we are using.

****Note**** If it is raining we will postpone this event. We will make the call the night before.
