Leader Training Day – Some Intermediate Tourers are Welcome

    That doesn't mean that you are confirmed to go on the trip yet. If you are accepted, you should receive an email from the coordinator to confirm your sign-up and coordinate the trip's details.

Description

The purpose of this day trip is to train the winter leader mentees to organize and lead ski trips.

Some intermediate tourers are welcome to join. I will be coaching the leaders-in-training; for everyone else, this is a good opportunity to observe the thought process for leading trips.

 

Requirements:

-Ski black runs under any conditions

-Adequate fitness for a full day outside

-Prior touring experience

-AST1 or better.

 

 Recommended:

-Chocolate for the leader!

 

The carpool location will be in Coquitlam Near Brunette Ave and Highway #1.
