Description

For mentoring program participants only!   Face Mountain Loop, traversing several peaks around the Train Glacier, from camp at Semaphore lakes. Easy day Saturday to camp at Semaphore Lakes area, with a very alpine start Sunday.  Mostly scrambling on rock/scree/talus, with a very short bit of glacier.  Helmet, harness, a few slings, prussiks, a locking biner or 2, rappel / belay gadget, ice ax, crampons, an ice screw if you have one.  Planning on only using the helmet, the rest of the gear is for contingencies only.  Group size dependent on the number of Mentors / Leaders available, more spots might become available if a few mentors / leaders sign up.
