Description

This trip is intended for those with prior touring experience (ie. not beginners).

*** Although non-members can sign up, the only guests that will be accepted are VOC members ***

 

Requirements:

-Good attitude

-Prior touring experience

-Good enough fitness for a full day outside with 1200 meters of vertical gain

-Ability to ski black runs in any conditions

-Ast 1 equivalent or better

 

Required gear:

-Touring kit (skis or board)

-Avi gear (beacon, shovel, probe)

-Food and water

-Layers

 

Recommended: Chocolate for the leader!

 

As Thar is an alpine area, this trip will be rescheduled to Sunday Jan 29th is visibility is significantly better.
