Description

This trip is for those with limited or no outdoor climbing experience. Come prepared for a full day outside.

 

Preference will be given to those who meet the minimum requirements and have little or no experience climbing outside.

However, A few people are also needed who can clean anchors, rappel, and lead belay.

Also, At least one other person needs to bring a rope.

We will most likely go to Murrin Park. We need to arrive early as the parking lot will likely be full by 9am.

Minimum requirements:

-Some roped-climbing experience in a gym (tope rope, not bouldering)

-Ability to bottom (ie top rope) belay

 

Minimum equipment:

-Harness

-Helmet (bike helmet is ok)

-Rock shoes

 

Other Stuff to bring:

-Good Attitude

-Backpack

-Food and 2 to 3L of water (there is no water source in the park

-Hiking shoes preferred

-Sunblock

-Location: St Davids church in North Vancouver

-Parking: Do not park in the church lot. Park on one of the adjacent streets

-Meeting time: 715am

-Departure time: 730am
