The following is an excerpt from Avalanche Canada’s website: describing the webinar topic:

Wednesday, Dec. 14: Off the Line. Sometimes avalanche incidences occur because people thought they were in the right place, terrain-wise, but instead they were just slightly off the line. There can be a fine line between safe terrain and an avalanche accident. Join Avalanche Canada Yukon field team member, Drew Nylen, to review a case history, discern the nuances in terrain and choices that were made, and glean helpful tips for staying on the right side of the line this winter.
