Description

An easy-going trip to knock off the remaining peaks I haven’t bagged in the area. There is an excellent hut at the lake as well as great camping spots. Priority given to those with 4WD high-clearance vehicles and willing to drive.

Day 1: Hike in to lake, set up camp, ascend Finch Ridge and enjoy the sunset.

Day 2: Hike out to vehicles, diverting to climb Mt. Barbour en route.

Both objectives are mostly hikes with limited amounts of scrambling.
