Tantalus Climbing Camp
This is an early posting for anyone with
intermediate to experienced mountaineering skills
that would like to join in a week long trip in the
Tantalus Range (July 4th to 11th)
The base camp will be the ACC’s Jim Haberl hut and
it will be heli in heli out.

haberl-hut/
As this is an unguided trip, everyone is expected
to contribute to planning the climbs and camp.
The hut is already reserved, so book your time off
work now and start training.
Some possible objectives are Mount Tantalus
(2608m), Mount Dione (2589m), Serratus Mountain
(2321m), and many other climbs and scrambles.
ACC members pay $15 per night for the hut. Non-
members pay $25.
Priorty for joining the trip will be given to
ACC members.
The expected heli drop off and pick up will be
around $300 per person.
This event will be organized as a climbing camp
were different groups can try different
objectives, or just go hiking, each day. Having
12 people all on the same climbing route at the
same time will not be fun
e-mail me with any questions.
