1) November 18th – 5.30pm to 10pm at 223 Mountain HWY, Suit 106, North Van, V7J 3V3 – theory class and CPR practice. 2) November 20th & 23rd – 8am to 5pm at Lighthouse Park (West Van) – outdoor practice on real life situations. Course Description These intense one day certification courses provide basic first aid knowledge to care for adults, children and infants in the case of an emergency. There are some variations in the courses to suit different areas of specialization and occupations. At the conclusion of the course there is a multiple choice written exam. Upon successful completion, participants receive a national St. John Ambulance first aid certificate valid for 3 years. Core Contents Emergency Scene Management Shock, Unconsciousness & Fainting Choking — Adult Cardiovascular Emergencies; One Rescuer CPR – Adult Severe Bleeding Medical Conditions Bone and Joint Injuries Eye Injuries Eye Injuries Burns Poisons, Bites, and Stings Heat and Cold Emergencies Dental Emergencies

2) July 17th & 18th – 8am to 5pm at 155 Forbes Ave (Mahon Park) North Vancouver – outdoor practice on real life situations.
