Description
This is a SNOW JAM event and preference will be
given to those who are staying at the Coquihalla Lakes Lodge for the weekend.

This will be an easy trip with a focus on
learning. We will ski tour towards the Zoa summit area and seek out gentle
terrain along the ridge to practice some turns. On the skin up
there will be time to ask questions about backcountry travel
and to hone your beacon skills by performing a search with a partner.
After our group lunch we can dig a snow pit together and discuss what we
find. We’ll take it slow and easy through the trees and down the pipeline right-of-way on our ski out and plan to be back at the trailhead by 4:00 pm.

I will arrive at the Lodge Friday evening. Meet me
at the Falls Lake parking area at 8:30 am. Let me know if you will be departing
Saturday morning from Vancouver and if you can offer a lift to others or if you
