So my skiing season has pretty much been a write-off…I’m thinking about climbing season instead! 🙂 I’m flexible on the dates for this trip; basically I just want to get out climbing and would like to stay more than a few days. Depending on how long we’re there, I thought we could mountain bike, hike, or trail run on days off. This is in the desert, so there is a good chance the conditions will be dry. It’s fairly warm in the sun, but it cools down quite a bit in the shade and at night. There can be some flexibility built into when people come and go. The campground near the climbs even has a hot shower. Participants must have experience climbing and be able to look after themselves. This trip requires that people know how to belay and preferably how to clean an anchor and rappel. We need a good balance of people who know how to lead climb, lead belay, and have gear as well. Final group composition will depend on all of these factors. If I haven’t climbed with you before, please send me an email letting me know your experience, ability, and what gear you have.
