Monthly Social / Speaker Night

Join us on March 28th at Mahoney and Sons Stamps
Landing for our monthly social night. Catch up with old
friends and meet new friends,
make plans to climb, ski, hike or run anything you can.
With spring around the corner Ski Mountaineering and
Traverse season is upon us,
so come and make some plans to get that epic
Spearhead Traverse or ultra epic Misty Icefields trip
you’ve dreamed of planned!

This month’s social will have a special presentation from
local blogger Richard So!

Join Rich as he presents on some of his favourite trips
along the high country of Southwestern British Columbia.
His adventure of choice is
long obscure ski touring destinations and hidden
backcountry huts, which has taken him to places
including the Lizzie Creek area, steep
skiing in the Downton Creek area, remote ski
mountaineering objectives in Garibaldi Park and much
more. Despite the enormous amount of
suffering he puts himself, and his unsuspecting trip
partners through, he always comes away with incredible
photos of smiling, happy
people.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Rich So didn’t discover the
outdoors until university, where he learnt to ski and
climb. After a few years, he
assembled two collages of topographic maps to cover his
walls, and has been exploring the mountains around
Vancouver on foot and skis
