Description

This is a PILOT program, aimed at providing
members with a chance to pair up with a mentor
for the 2019/2020 winter season. The objective
to provide mentees with guidance on how to
improve their confidence in terrain management,
group management and trip planning skils, to
lead trips on their own. Note, we are not
guides. It is expected that the mentees have a
strong back ground in eitehr skiing or
splitboarding, as the mentors will not be
teaching you how to ski or split board.

First step is to fill out the survey below.
After the October 31, 2019 @ midnight deadline
passes, the survey will be locked and the
applications will be reviewed. Upon reviewing
all applications, a notice will go out to
invite a few potential candidates out for a
tour on Seymour, when there is snow, to further
evaluate skiing/splitboarding skils. Following
that, the mentors will choose who will be part
of the winter mentorship program.
