Watching the smoke and will adjust the trip as
needed.

Mount Marroitt and Mount Rohr are two great
scrambles as per
the Matt Gunn Scrambles book. Both the
scrambles are rated
as moderate and the distance from camp should
make the
ascents fairly easy.

We will camp by Rohr Lake. This is about 7Kms
from the
parking with about 450 meters of elevation gain.

This can all be done as a one nighter or if the
group prefers to
hang out more at the lake as an easy two
nighter.

I need to check to see if the access has changed
but from
what I can see so far is we can get further up
the trail with a
4WD high clearance, otherwise 2WD works but it
is an extra 30
minutes of hiking.
