Description

The UBC Varsity Outdoors Club is hosting this
annual lecture with the goal is of inspiring
mountain safety in the outdoors among outdoors
club community.

Jared Stanley was a UBC Geography student and
was part of the Avalanche Research Group. He
lost his life skiing at Mount Seymour in 2005,
and the lecture has been held every year since.

This will be the 15th year, and would love to
see a large crowd come out to support the cause
and celebrate the anniversary.
