Beginner Friendly orientation to Winter Back Country Travel, assemble at Chevron Station (grandview hwy & Boundry Rd for 6:30 am departure. Idea is to practice basic travel and ski skills (skiing with heavy pack). This is an overnight tenting trip some may want to build snow shelters. On Sunday as conditions permit we’ll head for the Summit of Frosty before heading back to the cars.
